Who We Are

CHCC attempts to provide support services aimed at maximizing a person's potential and quality of life. The following values guide us in providing this service:

· Every person, regardless of disabilities, is a unique individual with worth.

· To the greatest extent possible, every person has a need for self-determination.

· Every person has the right to live a dignified life.

· Every person should be able to live as a full member of society in his or her own community.

· Every individual has the right to reside in their own house and have that home seen as their own, rather than the home of an agency, organization, or staff.

· Every individual has the right to be surrounded by people who care about them and want the best for them (family and friends).

· Every individual has the right to be welcomed and valued for who they are.

· Everyone has the right to give of themselves and receive from others.

· Everyone must be treated appropriately for their age.
